The day began with the Inaugural American Legion Brenton Jacob Charity Game, renewing the rivalry between Brooks-Shepard Post #765 & Rayson-Miller Post #899!  Rayson bested Brooks 7-1 on a day where the temperature, as well as the fastballs, reached into the upper 90’s!

The home run derbies for kids & adults followed w/ winners crowned for each of the four (4) divisions.  Children’s activities, raffle items and local food vendors were plentiful throughout the day.

Unfortunately the softball game was cancelled due to the extreme heat of the afternoon.  Even the ice cream cones couldn’t handle it.
